How did I not know about this new pattern?  I love the cheery summery colours!  It's called Make Me Blush.  This is a picture of the diaper bag but I think it would be perfect as a summer tote considering how many things I end up lugging around with me all the time.

I found out yesterday I am going to be in New York on June 24th and I have this on my shopping list!  There is a jewelry store in the shopping town 30 minutes from the border so I am going to call them and see if they can get this in for me in time for my visit!

What's in your purse?

I hope you all have a fabulous weekend! I am going to Watertown, NY tomorrow for a shopping day! I cant wait to get my hands on a Target shopping cart!

I wanted to let everyone know, from now on I will be answering questions in my comments sections so if you ask a question I will answer it there. I am finding it hard to go from blog to blog to blog to answer questions - no I'm not lazy but princess or not, I have a toddler so my time is often limited. I was switching purses the other day and I was wondering what everyone carries with them on a daily basis. Here is what is in my purse (from right to left):

• Sunglasses
• Cell phone
• Flip video camera - not always in my purse
• Pink fabric case which holds my calling cards
• Tic Tacs
• Waterman Pen
• Lip gloss
• Small case holding vitamins and digestive enzymes
• Body Shop lip balm in Snow flavour/scent
• Pocket mirror - the picture is two snooty women at the theatre
• BBW candy apple antibacterial hand cream
• LV pochette which holds all of my cards, licence and sometimes a little bit of cash
• Burberry hankerchief - I always carry a cotton hankie!
• BBW antibacterial gel
• Pink camera in my Lilly fabric gadget cozy - not always in my purse.
• Hot pink leather gloves
• Missing is a small bottle of Amazing Grace - I left it in another purse.
• A Health Card - not mine though! Over a week ago I found it in my mailbox and I have no idea why! I went to the home of the person who owns it and left a note on their front door but I haven't heard from them - very strange. This card is what is shown at the Dr's office and hospital if medical care is needed.

Dooney&Bourke Purse - Please weigh in!

Years ago, when I was single, I dated a man who is American. His mom lived in NY and from what I could gather came from 'old money'. She was a very generous woman and always showered me with really nice gifts.

The last gift she gave me was for Christmas 2001 and to be honest her son and I had broken up before it arrived on my doorstep. I know, I know...I should've returned it but I just couldn't! It was the nicest purse I had ever owned (up to that point - my next relationship was the keeper and now my closet is filled with lots of nice purses.) and I just didn't have the heart to part with it.

Here in Canada we dont have a lot of same same brands and this D&B purse was/is very exotic! I always felt like a million bucks when I carried it. It goes with most of my winter wardrobe and while I was a working girl in the big city I thought of it as my 'power purse'.

8 years later and I am wondering...can I still use this purse? Is it still fashionable enough? Is it so classic I could use it forever? I dont know! So I am asking you to weigh in and tell me what you think.

My style has always been very classic so I dont follow trends or buy 'this year's fashion'. Yes I have coats and other pieces of clothing that I bought back in high school - more than 20 years ago! I always take really good care of my wardrobe so my clothes last a long time - much like this purse. It is still in the same condition it was when I got it!

Here is a photo of the purse - I couldn't find it in the right colour but the one I have is hunter green and tan. I took the shoulder strap off because I'm not a purse-over-the-shoulder kind of person.

Thoughts? Advice?
