Pink & Green Thursday!

My friend...who I shall dub Obi Wan became a father on Saturday, March 5th.  As much as his baby mama hasnt inspired any love from me, I will adore and spoil my friend's baby and teach her how to be the perfect princess.

I bought her a cute little outfit - pink onesies, pink pants and cute little socks!

I bought the onesies in two sizes so she doesnt have to be sad when she outgrows the first one!

I have decided my P&G post will be how P&G is found in my real life so starting from last week's post (I too adore those socks!) they will all be my own creations, accessories, clothes and anything else I notice is pink and green in my house and life.

I felt my True Prep bracelet needed some colour so swapped in this adorable grosgrain ribbon, added a clasp and voila!  Uber preppy jewelry!

The Suburban Prince took this photo yesterday as we were heading out the door to visit his parents.  The Little Prince has started carrying his white bear everywhere so P&G Thursday was a family affair this week!

At last, my life is complete!

I saw the leopard print and pink snuggies in Walmart one day and immediately went home to tell the Suburban Prince as there was some sort of gifty holiday coming up.  He went to Wamart (don't judge me, it is the only big store around here) to get them and to his horror there was only one leopard Snuggie in the entire store!  The pink ones were all sold out!  He grabbed the leopard print one before anyone could shatter the other half of his wife's heart and made his way home with the good news/bad news.

I figured my pink Snuggie was just a fantasy and got cozy with my leopard print one.  We have had lots of great times together watching movies, chatting online, blogging, cuddling the Little Prince but I always felt a bit cheated.  I needed a pink Snuggie for the bedroom so I could be cozy while watching tv or movies from the big bed.

The other day I ran into Zellers to get something when what should catch my eye in a big display in the middle of the store!  Pink Snuggies!!!!

I almost forgot what I was there for as I stood holding what seemed like the holy grail at this point....So pink!  So soft!  So rare!  So elusive!  So MINE!

I tucked my precious find under my arm, remembered what I came in to the store for, paid for my purchases and pranced back to the car to show the Suburban Prince and Little Prince what a successful shopping trip is made of!

The earth may resume spinning on it's axis, the Suburban Princess has her pink Snuggie!

A few weeks ago I was in the shoe department and spotted these little cuties in the kiddies section.  Yes, I did try to squeeze my feet into them but they didnt have any kids size 4.5 or I might have been able to get away with it! 

Today I am having lunch with the wife of one of the Suburban Prince's co-workers.  I have met her a few times in the box at hockey games but we have never spent any time together away from the professional environment so it will be interesting to see what she is like when we can relax!  She invited me to her home which is in a super posh area so I will be making sure my Chanel-esqe jacket and other sharp pieces are ready to make a splash!  No doubt I will get there and she will be dressed in ratty jeans and a tank top lol!
