RIP Davy Jones

30 December 1945 – 29 February 2012

Of all of the celebrity deaths in this recent years, Davy Jones' actually makes me sad.  He was still so young and always was a likely guy.  He represented the music industry in an incredibly positive way and kept an unsullied reputation for over 50 years.  

RIP Davy, you were always the cutest Monkee.

Goodbye September!

September has been quite a month! We did so many wonderful things with friends and family! Our annual End of the Season pool party, lots of fall shopping with friends, dinners with our parents (to find out the Little Prince likes Japanese food!), celebrating anniversaries with our 2 closest couples since we all got married in September though not the same year, celebrating birthdays, remembering my Gran's passing a year ago, and sadly, saying goodbye to my friend's beloved dog.

For some reason September has always been a busy month for me even though I don't have to worry about back to school activities. It always seems to bring ups and downs for me. Births, deaths, hellos and goodbyes, celebrations and remembrances. This September has been no different.
