The View From Here
I was dropping the Little Prince off at school one morning and had to stop to photograph this little scene. The light was perfect and the colours so vibrant, I swear I live on a movie set most of the time!

The View From Here
I was driving home the other morning and was waiting at an intersection across from this beautiful sight. I had to stop to take a photo. One of the many wonderful things about living in southern Ontario (does that make me southern) is the show Mother Nature puts on each autumn. It is simply breathtaking this year!

The View From Here
We went to visit friends of the Suburban Prince who happen to live just 15 minutes from us. It was a great opportunity to drive around the lake just north of us...
I love these narrow roads!
This lake shows up on my blog from time to time as I have to drive past it to get to the city 45kms north of us. Lots of people live on it year round as well as the cottagers who come just for the summer.
The sunsets are amazing!

I love when the trees grow over and form an arch over the road. The drives around here are always beautiful...I am looking forward to when the leaves have changed, perhaps an autumn picnic will be in order!
Have a fabulous day!

The View From Here
I was driving home from a shopping trip and did a u-turn to come back for this scene. It's a farm about 30 minutes north of my town and I couldn't resist these lovely horses and tiny little pony on a cold winter's day. They were so far in the field I had to use my super-zoom from the road...I remember Elton John was blasting on my car stereo and I kept squeeling 'Hey horseyhorseyhorsey' to get them to look up. Yup, I'm a dedicated blogger!

The View From Here
The other night I made the 45km trip to Starbucks and Costco to stock up. The drive to Peterborough is always a pleasant one with lots of pretty scenery peppered with hamlets and villages.
The view of Rice Lake from the road.
I love living in a very hilly area!
The road we were on suddenly ended. Very Suddenly.
I was paying attention so I didn't drive into the lake
but the road ends about 4 feet before the water!
I am so fortunate to live in such a beautiful place with amazing vistas all year round!
Have a fabulous day!

I feel like Sarah Palin....
I was taking the senic route through town the other day and noticed...
A tiny plume of smoke in the distance...
(Click on the picture for to enlarge it)
I can see America from my house!
The smoke stack is a coal plant in Olcott, New York and on very clear days we can see it working hard in the distance.

The view from here...
I took this a in May...a few days later all of the pink flowers were replaced with new leaves.
Such a shame as these trees look so nice when they are in bloom!
Have a fabulous day!
