Oscar night munchies!

Don't forget to enter my March LillyP Giveaway!

With Oscar night quickly approaching (does it seem like it is very early this year?) I thought it would be fun to share some Oscar themed dishes! All of these can be found at Martha Stewart - click here to go to the full list of ideas and recipes! Each dish is based on a past Oscar winner!

When Harry Met Sally!

Ratatouille

Mystic Pizza!

Like Water For Chocolate

Lady and the Tramp!

Julie & Julia!

Fried Green Tomatoes!

Forest Gump!

Chocolat!

Casablanca (which happens to be my absolute favourite movie - I have been to Casablanca, it is nothing like in the movie)!

Bridget Jones' Diary (remember the blue soup?)!

Have a fabulous day!

PS...does anyone else find it almost impossible to get the photos and text to work together in blogger? I have the hardest time getting everything to look the way I want!

I have the hardest time trying to get everything to look the way I want in blogger. Especially if there are a lot of pictures.

Sooo true. Blogger is a b!tch sometimes...pics go where they want to! I've heard of people switching to Word Press,,,but I'm scared to move. I'm not THAT technical, and I don't want to lose my followers....

I love, love, love Casablanca... and I'm jealous you've been there, and very curious as to what it's like, why on earth were you in that part of the world?

are you in the newest version? go to posting options and there is a box you can check to get the newest version of publishing. It is so much better and easier to use.

Btw, I love this. SO cute and so clever!

I find blogger much more frustrating now :)

You must be on the Old Editor. If you click the box above it in your settings you can put your picture anywhere you want them instead of them always inserting at the top of the post but this editor is not fool proof. Spaces are more common that can't seem to be fixable but give it a try, you may like it better. Also with the Updated Editor you can upload all your photos in a little box and choose from them whenever you want until you get off the edit page. The preview feature also will show you the exact placement of your text so you know what words are being cut to the next line. If you need further help, ring my email bell. :) xoxo

Aren't you clever?! But come on now... you couldn't find BLUE SOUP!?!? LOL

Love the names of those dishes...

Don't use the old editor of blogger. They have a new one. Go to the settings and choose the updated editor. Then when you post, there are options where you want to place your pics, either left, right or center plus options what size of pics you like, small, med, large, xl.

Have a great weekend! xoxo

Thanks everyone! I got the editor thing sorted out :O)

I thought I was clear at the start of this post but I did not go searching for all of those photos and ideas...they all came from Martha Stewart and there is a link at the top to the full list of ideas and recipes. I'm not doing a very good job of looking busy if you all think I have that kind of time on my hands LOL!
