Everyone's favourite Social Climber and I got to talking and decided we would post our playlists for the world to see. I decided to transcribe my driving playlist as I don't very often get to listen to it. Usually I have menfolk in the car or I am going a short distance and it's not worth trying to listen to some quality tunes.

and....
My very, very very favouritest song ever...one I have loved since I was 12 years old and still gives me goosebumps whenever I hear the first note....
(The actual video starts around 30 seconds in)
So, Carrie Bradshaw Preston, you can keep your ever mine, ever thine. With lyrics like...
I'll protect you from the hooded claw, keep the vampires from your door
When the chips are down I'll be around with my undying, death-defying love for you
Envy will hurt itself. Let yourself be beautiful, sparkling love, flowers, and pearls and pretty girls
...I will take Frankie Goes to Hollywood anytime!
Leave a comment here then go visit Beth to see what's on her playlist too!
Have a fabulous day!

Fame! Love that song. And I have Say Goodbye to Hollywood and Moon River too. Just not on the play list I posted.

The link didn't work for me
I am hanging in limbo wondering about that song!
Your play list includes a lot of my favorite songs too... The last time I got a mixed tape was 1992. My then boyfriend, now husband, put it together for me as a gift. He included with it a story telling all the reasons he chose the songs he did. It is the sweetest gift he's ever given me. I still have the tape but the story is missing.
I never got a mix tape from a boy :(
But I made plenty for my friends.
Some of your songs I have not heard...will have to look them up on iTunes.
Big fan of your playlist! Even went into my Spotify playlist and added some of the tracks! x LondonZest
What an amazingly diverse playlist! And here I was thinking I had thought up the concept of exchanging music tapes with a boyfriend - particularly when long distance... My internet connection just now is really lousy and it may be awhile before I am able to get fully caught up with my 'social networking'. Just to let you know you're not forgotten...
Love your playlist! Now I'm going to have "Relax" going through my mind. LOL!
Sadly, I know exactly what this is and have had many "in my day!" :) Great list! I'll be adopting many for my iPod ~ thanks.

Wow, some of those songs bring back memories. Puttin on the Ritz & Tainted love. I think I was in high school when they came out...
Mix tapes were always so neat.
Excellent tunes!
