The View From Here

We went to visit friends of the Suburban Prince who happen to live just 15 minutes from us.  It was a great opportunity to drive around the lake just north of us...

I love these narrow roads!

This lake shows up on my blog from time to time as I have to drive past it to get to the city 45kms north of us.  Lots of people live on it year round as well as the cottagers who come just for the summer.

The sunsets are amazing!

I love when the trees grow over and form an arch over the road.  The drives around here are always beautiful...I am looking forward to when the leaves have changed, perhaps an autumn picnic will be in order!

Have a fabulous day!

I love narrow winding roads. They are best scenic routes to travel. That road provides incredible views. I can only imagine what autumn looks like there.

Lovely country roads and it looks so pristine and rural.
Such a contrast from freeways and city streets...
you must enjoy the peace and quiet.

B&P - No kidding! I know of a certain loch that looks very similar ;o)

Jules - It's so nice to see you again! I will do a changing leaves drive soon!

JMW - We are very fortunate to live somewhere so beautiful yet be so close to the city.

Hostess - I am a city girl at heart ;o)

Vanessa - It never occurred to me until you and B&P mentioned it!

Mrs - And I bet you need one this week!
