The Sound of Silence

It is Wednesday morning.  The house is silent.  I can actually hear my own thoughts.

The Little Prince has been home from school for 2 weeks now while his nursery school has a summer break.  I had no idea how much my child talks.  Non.Stop.  He makes me seem shy and quiet!  Sooo we are having a day sans enfant to get things done, work, clean, tidy and everything else we have trouble doing with a 3 year old running around.  I miss him already.

The other day I made these...well, assembled is more appropriate.  Simply stuff raspberries with chocolate chips and enjoy.  The perfect summer snack!  All those antioxidants will help undo all the summer sun damage we have inflicted on ourselves lately.

Have a fabulous day!

What a clever idea! How did you avoid popping them all in your mouth while stuffing?

Little Prince must be very entertaining...my daughter was like that too...a little chatterbox.

Raspberries are so yummy, and to think I have never thought of popping a chocolate chip inside...
where have I been?

Thanks for the inspiration Princess.

You made me laugh there, I LOVE 99's!
Do you stuff the flake down into the ice cream and save it till the end?

Raspberries with chocolate chips stuffed inside.
You see, it take a Scot to pick up fruit and think " Hmm, not quite sweet enough"

Genius idea!

That looks delicious....tart and sweet!!!

And, I have to laugh with you...my littlest prince is quite a talker himself! Goes on and on and on. Usually pretty funny, but sometimes I have to ask him to take a breath. :)

That looks like a great snack. It might be pretty good with maraschino cherries too
