Happy Valentine's Day!
The Suburban Prince is working so I am spending the day with the Little Prince and then off to Rotary tonight for dinner. Valentine's day doesnt mean much around here - we both feel we dont need to limit our love to just one day and at this point have little to prove. No pressure here!
Did we all see the Grammy's last night? I haven't heard of most of the performers but I do remember Drake from long before he was Drake and was Aubrey Graham of Degrassi.
Rihanna's dress reminded me of ornaments we had when I was little.

Yup, I saw them. I was really pleasantly surprised that Arcade Fire won; my daughter used to see them many years ago when they were just starting in Montreal.
And Rihanna's dress also reminded me of Xmas decorations. She looked amazing in it. But I do hope they don't choose her as one of the best dressed. Nah-ah!
Valentines day around here also is not a huge deal though we dine with our best friends as a long standing tradition so that part I always enjoy..and like you am blessed to have a hubby I love so every day is a celebration.
I personally hated Rihannas dress in every sense, pretty girl....bad choice, besides the transparency, just hated the bright white, thought it looked really cheap..not impressed at all. But overall feel the Grammy show last night was the best one yet, lots of talent....and many great performances.

The felted girl is pretty cute...I saw the Grammy's too and loved Barbra Streisand's song from A Star is Born..
I am not a fan of Rhianna's dress....it lacks something...fabric.

I am not at all impressed with Rhianna's dress. I do not like the commercialism of Valentine's Day but as the boys were growing up I liked to get a little creative with their breakfast and lunches and then made a special dinner for them. Depending on their own agendas for V' Day I still sometimes make them special treats and/or meals.

I've noticed that most of the really happy couples we know don't make a big deal out of Valentine's Day. We spend our time & energy trying to wow one another with food we make...
I've been so sick I fell asleep before the opening Aretha act was even over! I did see the red carpet, though and can't for the life of me figure out how anyone could think that dress was a good idea. Yikes!
