Broccolli Salad = YUM!

Don't miss my latest giveaway!

With all of the farmers markets teeming with broccolli this is the perfect time to make one of these delicious salads!  It takes just a few ingredients and tosses together in a couple of minutes.

Chop up your broccolli and toss with chopped up red onions, sunflower seeds, craisins or raisins, chopped up bacon and mayonnaise.  Store your salad in the fridge.

Have a fabulous day!

This is such a good and healthful salad; I make it w/ a vinaigrette since I don't care for mayo.

Hope you have a terrific day.

My mother makes this with almonds or pecans instead of sunflower seeds. But the seeds sound fab too.

This looks so yummy. I'll definitely have to try it soon.

And I can't believe your immigration story! It's ridiculous! They sometimes make traveling such an unpleasant experience and can certainly ruin any trip. I hope your husband never experiences such trouble again!

Oh my stars...this looks gorgeous! I think "pretty" salads are always better! I have a broc. salad that calls for crushed up ramen noodles right before serving. I think I shall dig that recipe out now, thanks for reminding me! Love, Mrs. Kindergarten

My mom made this before I left for school, and it was DELICIOUS! I was a little worried at first, because I'm very picky, but it is one of my new favorite salads!

You crack me up!

I had Tretorns (pink and red stripe), loved the movie "White Nights," and remember "Against All Odds" being our prom song. What a riot! The cologne, sweater, all of it. I feel as though I've just been transported back to 1985. I want to go!

Fantastic post. I must send you a link to one I did a while back, too. No laughing.

Okay, I'll be right back. :)

This is one of my favorite broccoli salads (minus the bacon). It is definitely one of my go-to's for weekday lunches.
