Autumn Friendship Gifts

Inspired by Miss Janice's friendship gifts I decided I better have some at my front door for any guests we have in the next 6 weeks or so.  I was in the bulk store and saw caramel kisses and knew they would be perfect!

I put 10 kisses in each bag (the dipped pretzel size found in the cake decorating and candy supply department) and used cute autumn ribbon to tie around them.  I stuck a fabric autumn leaf in each one and stood them in a little basket at the front door.  I bought the fabric leaves as a bunch in the dollar store - I just cut them off the 'branch' they came on.  If I use kisses again I will take the little tags off each one first...once I had them all done I realised they sort of detract from the look but I was not about to undo them all and retie them.

All ready to give to all of the lovely people who visit us!  I made a dozen of them which took me less than an hour - the hardest part was tying them without someone else to help hold it all together.

Have a fabulous day!

I love this idea! Problem though: they wouldn't make it to my guests, I'd be picking away at those damn chocotes till the basket was empty!
But what a gesture!

Absolutely darling! Lucky visitors you have!

In response to your comment on my blog, we were joking all night that we Catholics sureknow how to throw a party: beer and gambling! LOL!

You are so organized! When someone stops by my place, it's all I can do to clear the table and get a cup of coffee made! Such a lovely idea though. When my life is a little more civilized (I'm told we'll have a new tutor for my little guy at the end of the month--woo hoo!), I'd love to do something like this.
