Inspired by Miss Janice's friendship gifts I decided I better have some at my front door for any guests we have in the next 6 weeks or so. I was in the bulk store and saw caramel kisses and knew they would be perfect!
I put 10 kisses in each bag (the dipped pretzel size found in the cake decorating and candy supply department) and used cute autumn ribbon to tie around them. I stuck a fabric autumn leaf in each one and stood them in a little basket at the front door. I bought the fabric leaves as a bunch in the dollar store - I just cut them off the 'branch' they came on. If I use kisses again I will take the little tags off each one first...once I had them all done I realised they sort of detract from the look but I was not about to undo them all and retie them.
All ready to give to all of the lovely people who visit us! I made a dozen of them which took me less than an hour - the hardest part was tying them without someone else to help hold it all together.
Have a fabulous day!

I love these! What a fab idea! Where did you get the fabric leaves?
Awesome idea! They're gorgeous & so thoughtful!
Fantastic idea!! Before you know it LP will be able to put his little finger to help hold the ribbon as you tie... XO HHL
If only I lived closer!

So adorable!!! They look so festive in the basket.
How cute! I may steal this idea for a fall happy for all my children's teachers & coaches. Thanks for sharing.
What a sweet, thoughtful gift, I'm sure your visitors will appreciate it.
Yummy!! Think I'll make a surprise visit to your house some time soon ~ they look great!
I love this idea! Problem though: they wouldn't make it to my guests, I'd be picking away at those damn chocotes till the basket was empty!
But what a gesture!
I'm coming to visit! Sadly we do not have many drop-in visitors!
Wow, can I come over? I think that's pretty brilliant and they turned out looking soo pretty.
besos,

Absolutely darling! Lucky visitors you have!
In response to your comment on my blog, we were joking all night that we Catholics sureknow how to throw a party: beer and gambling! LOL!
You are so organized! When someone stops by my place, it's all I can do to clear the table and get a cup of coffee made! Such a lovely idea though. When my life is a little more civilized (I'm told we'll have a new tutor for my little guy at the end of the month--woo hoo!), I'd love to do something like this.
Nice idea!
They are adorable! What a sweet idea
