A walk around the garden!

Happy Friday!  My random thoughts will return next Friday - I wanted to get this post up for NewEnglandGirl who just planted pumpkins!

Please also read the post below - we are getting very interesting comments and I would love to know what everyone thinks!

I took a walk around my garden the other day and it is so nice to see how everything is coming along!  Our raspberry bushes are huge and the Little Prince loves to run down there and pick them!  He loves the darkest sweetest ones!  He is so interested in the fruit and vegetables and I am very happy he will be able to see where they come from!

Click the photos to see larger views....

We have these climbing the corners of the gazebo!

Beautiful!

Niagara Rainbow Roses!

Blackberries galore!
The bush is falling over it is so heavy with fruit!

A tiny little pumpkin working on being a jack-o-lantern!

Another baby pumpkin climbing the lattice!

A pumpkin vine!

We (ok the Suburban Prince) used twoxtwos and lattice to erect something the pumpkins could climb up rather than cover the entire back yard.  In the background you can see the compost bin - everyone here composts and recycles since actually have to pay for each bag of garbage we put out.  The thing at the top is a wasp deterant - they think another clan has already taken up residence and they move on.

A tomato destined for it's turn in a sandwich!

A tiny cherry tomato!

Dont miss my latest giveaway!

Have a fabulous day!

Loving your garden!!! I want berry bushes... Its wonderful that you are teaching LP the value of gardening, not enough parents take the time to introduce their little ones to such things ... XO, HHL

I love garden posts so this made my morning. Your flowers are gorgeous! Is that first one a pink morning glory?

Looks like you are going to have a very productive garden! Love your flowers. I really miss having a garden I cannot wait to begin one next year. When they were little, my boys used to love picking produce from ours. My oldest loves to grow things and has a few potted gardens.

Have a fabulous weekend!
