A little thank you note....

The girl across the street just graduated from high school and will be going to university in September.  We gave her a little plaque that says 'A goal begins with a dream' and this is the thank you note I found in my mailbox the next day.  Her mother promptly told me I left the price on the back of the plaque *sigh* Discretion is the better part of valour ladies and gentlemen!

Have a fabulous day!

Great gift for a new graduate! When I helped my friend with her daughter's birthday party last month I received the sweetest note from the birthday girl as well as a separate note from my friend. Very reassuring that some people are still raising their children to have manners. Now if I can just get my DIL to remember to send out TY cards or notes...

You are such a thoughtful person. And how wonderful that a young person has learned the value of friendship and kindness - and took the time to actually hand write a thank you card.

~laughing~ I love that the mother TOLD you you had left the price on the back of the plaque, you wouldn't have known otherwise...
What a nice gesture on your part...wow...that young girl has an entire life to live...kind of a little jealous, I admit...

Sandra - I dont exactly know why she needed to tell me other than to try to make me feel stupid. It makes me wonder if that was her intent or she just lacks basic social skills.
