Lilly Mug and The Preppy Princess

The other morning the Suburban Prince came in from some errands with a box under his arm and because I assume all boxes are gifts and all gifts must be for me I jumped up and had it in my hands before he could say 'This one is for you'. The day he does some online shopping is the day he gets to find boxes for him at the front door!

I saw who it was from and knew exactly what it was! I ripped the box open and found this inside:



How pretty!! I love the pink paper and the hand written note from The Preppy Princess! Once I took a picture I tore off the paper and this is what was inside:



My very own Lilly travel mug! I have been wanting this one for a while - it seems to sum up my day to day life quite well. Moms of sons will understand...you see the pattern on this mug is monkeys swinging from chandeliers!

This mug is beautifully made and the top part is pink too! The band around the middle comes off so all you are left with is the glorious pattern! I bought it from The Preppy Princess and they were lovely enough to ship it to Canada for me!

When I first tried to place my order I had a problem with the shipping section. I emailed The Preppy Princess to ask them about it and my goodness...they apologized to me!!! Let me just say this - Americans really could teach Canadians a thing or two about customer service. Americans are notorious for it! We Canadians who live close to the border know all about it because we shop in the US quite often so we see the difference! Anyhoo back to the wonderful Preppy Princess...after apologizing to me they got the correct shipping prices ready for me and I got to place my order quickly and without any problems.

About a week later my parcel arrived and by the end of the day I was sipping pomegranate green tea out of my new Lilly mug!
