I took this a in May...a few days later all of the pink flowers were replaced with new leaves.
Such a shame as these trees look so nice when they are in bloom!

This picture is so pretty. I just love love love the spring and summer months with so many trees and flowers in bloom. Unfortunately, I have a houseful of allergy sufferers!
PS...is this even a Crepe Myrtle? I never knew they grew in Canada....I'm in PA and mine haven't bloomed yet. Whatever tree it is, it's beautiful!
What a beautiful tree. I wish many flowering trees and shrubs would hold their blooms just a little long or even rebloom.
