Of all of the celebrity deaths in this recent years, Davy Jones' actually makes me sad. He was still so young and always was a likely guy. He represented the music industry in an incredibly positive way and kept an unsullied reputation for over 50 years.
RIP Davy, you were always the cutest Monkee.
Have a Daydream Believing day.

The Monkee's were my first music crush! Tiger Beat Magazine.. Pictures on my bulletin board. And my heart still skips a beat when I hear those songs. I loved that they weren't bad boys... I didn't know that then. I know that now.
His death makes me sad too. I fell in love with The Monkees when their reruns were played back in the 80's. I wore out my parents' LPs too. Right now, I am kicking myself for not going to see them last year when they were performing locally...
I never missed The Monkees. I even watched them several years ago on Nick at Night. I almost started crying when I heard that he died. It's a sad, sad day.
I adored the Monkees. I remember sitting on my living room floor with my brothers on Saturday mornings watching their show on our black and white TV. And yes...I'm really old. :o) Davy was my favorite. I had a poster on my bedroom wall. Total love.
I gave up Paul McCartney for Davy Jones and had all the Monkees albums. He was so adorable.
