Lacrosse for the first time
This weekend I took the Danish Exchange Student to a lacrosse game in the next town. I have never been to one before and didn't have a clue what to expect. I know the game is quite popular in the US as I get a lot of requests at Royal Ribbons for LAX themed ribbon, magnets etc but it had not occurred to me to go watch a game before now. Some observations: It's a very quiet game, running doesn't make much noise. The whistle seems to mean nothing, it doesn't always stop the play. The goalies are huge and the net is very small...and yet it's still a high scoring game. Lacrosse players smell as bad as hockey players.

Lacrosse is the best sport on earth! Although, I prefer the game played outside...indoor lacrosse is a bit different.
I'd no idea it was big in the US. A quiet sport sounds brilliant!
