Shotgun Needlepoint

Back in the fall the Cheeky Reaper and I went out to a farmer's field and I got to practice shooting skeet with a couple of his shotguns.  Proving I shouldn't be messed with I accomplished hitting a moving target, or as I'm told it's called...I smoked that bird.  Not only can I hit a moving target, but I can hit it with a 410 which is a lot harder, so I'm told.

I wore duck boots, vintage embroidered cords, a grey sweater and a puffy vest, and pearls, natch.

As a teensie little thank you for expanding my skillset, I made a keyfob for the Cheeky Reaper's gun locker key.  I found a shotgun pattern and went to town.  I love doing keyfobs as they only take a day or two, even with my busy life!

The other side...can't forget the shells!  I really do need to do a better job attaching the hardware.  Once again I took this one off and redid it before gifting it. I should also start blocking my work, one of these years!

 Have a fabulous day!

Good job! I love the design. I need to get motivated (and find) my needlepoint key fobs.

Where do you buy your needlepoint supplies? I'm trying to find a place in Toronto, but no luck!
