Did I Make The Most Of Loving You?

Did we know Downton Abbey's theme music has been turned into a song? I discovered it on the Downton soundtrack album (also Alfie Boe sings If You Were The Only Girl In The World *swoon*) this weekend and have been playing it all weekend. Such a fitting title for our story isn't it?

So many surprises in last night's episode!  And so nice to see Sybil and Branson make peace with her father.  And what do we make of Lord Grantham and the housemaid?  I thought it was quite touching and says a lot about what is missing in his life.

Next week is the Christmas special which I can tell you is full of drama and magic.  I've seen it a couple of times now and never get sick of it!  What will become of Mr Bates?  Will Mary and Richard wed?  Does Sybil really leave with Branson?

Really, I am looking forward to all of my friends seeing it so I can finally talk about it!

Have a fabulous day!

I absolutely love Downton Abbey! I actually flipped over to it during the Grammys (which were pretty boring this year FYI) I can not wait for the Christmas special!

Lord and the house maid is quite common indeed.

I can speak personally to this as there is a family member several generations ago who was sent to Canada as she was with child...the father was the Lord of the manor!

I am loving this show! Can't wait for next week's episode! Will listen to the song later. My husband didn't put speakers on the computer I use in his office so I'll do it at home. :)

I do love DA and am looking forward to the next season (wish my life away here). We heard the theme song on a popular collection soundtrack around Christmas at Bill's cousin's house. I like the words to the song, but not sure I care much for her voice. Now, if they'd just start selling mainstream clothes like the ones in the show so we could all enjoy wearing them without feeling we were in a costume....

I cannot wait for next Sunday's episode! That dance scene with Matthew and Mary was electric. Such a good series.
