Dont miss my True Prep bracelet giveaway! And my Happy Baker book giveaway!
Since I had my Autumn cutters out for my apple pie crust I thought it would be fun to make acorn cookies...
I made a basic shortbread dough but used a wheat-free blend instead of traditional flour. I added lots of cinnamon, allspice and pumpkin pie spice for zesty Autumnal cookies! Use whichever recipe you like best!
I rolled out the dough and got to work cutting out the little acorns...
...and baked them according to the recipe. I think they are so cute!
Have a fabulous day!

Gorgeous--you have so much patience! If a cookie recipe isn't limited to dropping a dollop of cookie dough on a baking sheet with a spoon, I don't even bother thinking about it!!
so cute!! i wish i had the skill (and time!) to bake like you!
Hey there, do you have a good pumpkin pie recipe, using pumpkin puree?
Just curious. I do a lot of baking, but I'm no pie girl :)
Great minds think alike...Check out my post from Monday where I show off my apple pie with the crust made from those same W-S pie crust cutters! :)
Are those tiny little cookie/crust cutters from William Sonoma? I've been given "pie duty" for Thanksgiving this year, and those need to adorn my apple pie!
I have got to get my set of cutters back out! You are coming up with all sorts of cute things to make with yours. The cookies are such a great idea! They are adorable and the recipe sounds delicious!
Those look too cute!!!!!
You have been one busy lady! I don't even have time to go back & read everything! How on earth do you do it? I think I might need lessons from you in time management!
Yum!!! these look devine... XO HHL

Hey SP! You commented right above me over at Melissa C Morris today. Love that app - what colours did you pick. Note my Canadian spelling of Colours. XO AG
