Cheeky Little Chipmunk!

Please enter my Flower Power giveaway!

Yesterday we were at my in-laws' house enjoying the nice weather in the backyard.  My MIL puts seeds out for a little chipmunk who skitters about all day long!

MIL figures if she puts seeds out the critters will stay out of the lettuce!

Besides the chipmunk...what an ingenious way to grow lettuce!
They have been eating it for about a month now just cutting what they need each day!

Have a fabulous day!

First off how adorable is that little chipmunk. Second...I think I need lettuce in my yard. I would love fresh lettuce whenever I got the craving. XOXO

Ah, sweet little guy. So I guess chipmunks don't eat lettuce?

When Mr. P told me he wanted to plant lettuce I thought he was nuts. NOW I love it! It is just so handy!

Hmmm... This is something I must try. Since I don't do my veggie garden anymore I really miss having them right outside the door. Why didn't I think of this? And the chipmunk is adorable. We only get hairy rats called squirrels...

so cute, what a great way to grow lettuce.
I'm growing tomatoes and was very excited to see I've now got 10 little green ones growing! I should really try lettuce in a pot!
