The Preppy Mafia has been hard at work!
I was tagged as a socialite by Beth at Social Climbers! Thank you Beth! You will always be my favourite socialite!
Per the rules here are the answers to very important questions!
1. Who is your style icon?
JackieO, Grace Kelly and The Countess (dont laugh!) but I am sure I come off more like The Party Hearty Girl lol!
2. What is your favorite socialite lit book?
Bergdorf Blondes by Plum Sykes
3. Favorite party theme?
Any party the hosts put some effort into!
4. “Go to” Halloween costume?
I dont have one - perhaps I should add this to the list!
5. Extravagance you cannot live without?
Hair appointments, summer pedis, perfume, Starbucks!
6. Living person you admire?
Gosh there are so many...all strong women who have found their path and their truth.
7. Greatest Fear?
Not going there!
8. Trait you deplore in yourself?
Do fat thighs count? I am impatient - very impatient...I dont think I deplore that in myself though, I think I am inspiring everyone around me with my high standards! But impatience would probably be my worst trait. The Suburban Prince might argue that so we will see what he says when he reads this!
9. Which talent would you most like to have?
I am sure any talent would do as I dont actually think I have any reall talent for anything! Maybe dancing would be a good one!
10. Greatest Achievement?
Finding the Suburban Prince and creating our life together and of course, the Little Prince!
I am tagging Associate Girl and anyone else who wants to play along!
Have a fabulous day!

I had to laugh at your responses because in most of them it sounded like you were describing me! I have to disagree with your comment in #1, I do not think you come off as "The Party Hearty Girl."

Bergdorf Blondes is one of my favorite books!
Congratulations. As a princess you are more than highly qualified and obviously most deserving.
Great to learn more about you!!
Have a Happy Easter!!
#1, check (I would also add Audrey Hepburn); #2,check;#3 check;#4 Cleopatra; #5 chech, check; #6 check; #7 check; #8 check (r:thighs - I'm working on them);#10 - Finding Mr. G and learning to let him in to my life.
P.s. part of Mr.G's "talk" with me about gardening was to accept help ... so this year I'll just direct while he and others dig, plant, and fill... :)... ok perhaps I'll pour the ice-tea... lOl...
Have a great Easter!
Oh I want to play! How do I play? How do I get tagged! Such a fun thing to think about for a Friday.
Have you read her second book The Debutante Divorcee? Just as entertaining!
Such fun answers!! I can't believe I am just now stumbling upon your blog, where in the world have I been, and how could I have not been following sooner??!! Off to catch up on your archives. HAPPY EASTER WEEKEND TO YOU!! XOXO
