The Little Prince's Birthday Party - Games! The Final Installment!

Happy Tuesday!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

The birthday party was a huge success!  The Suburban Prince and I both managed to be wearing the same colour as the table cloths so we looked very co-ordinated!

The Little Prince had a great time and (not to brag or anything) was so well behaved!  Some of the other children fell apart after a while and had to be taken outside but I am so proud of my little guy for being so easy going!  He loved that everything was all about him and when we all sang Happy Birthday I thought his little face was going to explode he was so happy!  He certainly is his mother's child!

Everyone loved all of the little touches and I saw some panicked moms realised their children will be wanting birthday parties too!  Someone jokingly asked me what his 3rd birthday party theme will be and I replied 'Bumblebees!'....8 moms just about gave themselves whiplash when they spun their heads around to glare at me!

The Suburban Prince made this for the party!
We played pin the sunglasses on the Goldfish!
Every child guest won a prize!

The Suburban Prince cut out all of the fish for the fishing game.  We taped metal paperclips to the backside and used fishing rods we found at the party store.  The 'lure' has a magnet in it so all of the children got to catch a fish for a prize!  There was one little boy who loved this so much I am going to drop off one of the fishing rods along with the thank you note so he can play with it at home!

Thank you for indulging me while I documented the party!  I have had a great time planning it and putting everything together!  Yes, I would love to be a party planner but no one around here throws parties...especially not for their children so there are really no parties to plan.  It's such a shame because it takes so little to create a spectacular event!

If you would like some ideas for your parties please feel free to contact me!

Have a fabulous day!

What a great looking party for a 2 year old. Glad he had such a good time. What will next year bring?

I'm so glad everyone--especially the Little Prince--had a great time! So sweet about the little fisherman, too! When my oldest was preschool age, I planned theme parties when no one else in my community was doing that. We had a pirate party, a cowboy party, dinosaurs, and so on. It was so much fun, and what great memories! I know you will have the same!

What a wonderful gift you have given your LP - not only the wonderful party, but a journal of how much joy he brings to you!

You're so cute! I am sure your little prince will always remember his special goldfish birthday. Or if he doesn't, at least you got pictures, ha!

I couldn't wait to read all the posts I had missed about LP birthday! You are such an amazing mother. Your posting to LP was so beautiful I had to reach for a tissue.

Bumble Bees ... I can hardly wait to see what you pull together next year.
