Sinatra Tribute Concert

Please enter my Stationary Giveaway!

On Sunday we went to a Frank Sinatra tribute concert at one of our local theatres. The band is called Swing Shift and they perform all around the Toronto area. The singer is Dave Statham and he has the deepest voice I have ever heard! I was so impressed he could hit the high notes!

The concert was a mix of songs and stories about Frank Sinatra - it was interesting to learn a bit more about him!

I think this would've been more fun if it had been in a different setting. It was theatre seating and I would've preferred little round tables for the real club feel but it was enjoyable none the less. Oh and a bar wouldn't have gone amiss!

I knew quite a few people in the audience (such is life in a small town) so after the show we went for drinkies with another couple. The singer came in to the same bar so we chatted with him for a few minutes and he told us he now sings for a living after being at GM for 17 years. This shocked me as he looks like he just finished high school!

I snuck my Flip into the show and filmed a little bit which was a bit hard since we were in the 4th row right in the middle so I am sure the singer saw me! Dear Flip, the big red light on the front of your cameras is a tattler! I picked this video to share especially for The Entertaining House - I hope this brightens your day!

Have a fabulous day!
