I was having a rough time last week with all of the post holiday stress and the birthday party I was helping my friend plan and I was in dire need of some comfort (yes, I do realise my rough week is very different from a rough week in the real world). While I was at the drug store getting stamps I saw Jergen's lotion on the shelf and couldn't resist stopping to smell its old familiar scent. The cherry-almond aroma took me back to when I used this lotion as a teenager - ski weekends, wool sweaters, driving lessons and my first Weejuns. I felt comforted immediately, slipped the bottle in my basket and carried on with my shopping. I always seem to go back to old classics.

I have a bottle of that on my desk. Everytime I use it someone in my office asks if I'm using Jergens. I think the whole world knows that scent and has a good memory about it.
