I'm not ashamed to admit I have a problem!

***Please enter my November giveaway***

I have an addiction. Chocolate. I know I am not alone in this - I see what people buy in the grocery stores. I am coming clean and admitting I have a problem. This is my secret chocolate stash and it doesn't include my most recent acquisitions! There are 12 bags of Dove dark chocolates, 2 bags of Hershey's Coconut Kisses, 20 or more 100 calorie bars in York and Reeses, French and Frosted mint bars from Laura Secord, Bliss sample packs, and some other random chocolates. Can you believe I was about to walk into Laura Secord the other day to see if they had any Halloween chocolate on sale!? A friend was in Virginia last weekend and I emailed his cell phone to ask him to bring home Autumn Hershey's Kisses! Every time my parents go to Florida I get them to bring me 8 bags of Dove chocolates. Would you believe me if I told you I am not 400lbs?! I only ever eat one of two pieces a day but I have some sort of fear that I will run out or the world will end and we will have a chocolate shortage! I just cant resist the dark, creamy, melt in your mouth siren call of my old friend, chocolate!

My name is Suburban Princess and I am a chocolate addict.

Have a fabulous day!

What a fun addiction! I am convinced that chocolate lovers stay thin, while salt lovers, like me, do not. Your stash is so fun!! Are the dove chocolates not sold everywhere? You mean we have something special in Florida!

lol

If I had that in my house it would be gone in days.

Henley on the Horn - for the longest time Dove wasnt available in Canada...it is just recently that we have them here and they are very expensive :O( My parents have a house in Florida so they buy the big bags of them there!

Wow! That is a ton of chocolate... oh my goodness! I unfortunately am not a chocolate fan [unless accompanied by peanut butter], so the treasure of this stash would be lost on me... but I hope you enjoy it! :)

I'm pretty sure you're not alone! I keep sneaking my kids' peanut butter cups out of the freezer!

If the world ever comes to an end I'm tracking you down for my chocolate fixes. LOL!!! XOXO

Oh my goodness just as I clicked on your blog I was going back to my work lunchroom to get rid of a bunch of chocolate candy bars that I had grabbed from the lunch room yesterday! Ahhh usually I am not so bad but you are right, chocolate is sooo good! Ha ha, thanks for this post. I feel better for eating so much chocolate now.

I would eat all of it in one day. That box in my apartment would be dangerous.

Good for you for having self-control! If I had that much chocolate at my house I'd just eat and eat until it was gone! :)

Hello, my name is Canadian Prep, and I too am a chocolate addict! And I understand the pain of Canadian chocolate prices!. My greatest addiction danger was when they opened the Godiva store nearby.
How I only wish I had your self-control!

BonBon Rose Girls Kristin said...

I once ate an entire box of Godiva in two days. I'm a bit of an addict myself!

I too am a severe chocoholic and my stash is just as big as yours but not nearly as much variety (and I sometimes don't just limit myself to a piece or so)! Oops! That's why, unlike what Henley on the Horn believes, I am NOT a thin chocoholic but a rather pudgy one! Of course, I could simply blame it all on aging!!

Re the changes to my blog, I would love it if you could give me some instructions on how to go about it and some feedback on what you think would be nice. I've played around with what's on Blogspot but I think it's fairly limited, yes? You can email me, if you like, with your 2 cents worth!

Thanks, Princess! You are a .... Princess!

Ha! I just sent our Halloween candy with the Mr. to work. I have no self control, so I could not keep it in the house like that!

I'm allergic to chocolate, but I'm allergic to SERIOUSLY rich desserts. Like teeth achingly sweet. Hello dollies, oatmeal scotchies, peanut butter cookies with peanut butter chips....if most people can't touch it, I can inhale buckets of it.

Sarah said...

Yeah, this is why my poor kids' Halloween stash got raided and I had to go buy and sneak MORE candy into their buckets when they weren't looking. BECAUSE I ATE IT ALL.

You are not alone, hee-hee, yours truly just downed 6 Hershey's Kisses while reading your post!

Sending you smiles for a fab Friday,
tp

I think Mama Henley has a point there... when I eat salty I get bloated and bust out of my jeans! Yet, I can eat a small amount of chocolate, have it satisfy my sweet tooth, and I'm good! Love your stash... made me LOL... btw, the day after Halloween I went out and stocked up! Shhhh, it's hiding now and no one knows. Because if my husband gets his hands on it -- it will be all gone by lunchtime!
