I am back on the needles....

Knitting needles that is! 2 years ago I stopped knitting when my hands were too swollen to hold the needles. Since then I really haven't had the time to devote to my hobbies but a couple of weeks I was inspired! I dug out my favourite pattern, needles and some yarn and got to work!

A week later I now have a new pair of thick, cozy socks to get me through the winter! My next project is mittens for the Little Prince!

Have a fabulous day!

Fabulous work... I love that you can knit a socks or a mitten. The only thing I was able to knit was a scarf and it was just one color. blah!

Too cute!! I'm not a knitter....I've never been able to master it, but I think it's great that you can knit things for your family!

xoxo!

Amazing. I haven't tried socks yet - I can really only do dishcloths and scarves.

Is it hard?

I too have to put up the knitting because my carpal tunnel acts up. But I've never done socks and have always wanted to. Do you have a pattern you could copy and send me? Huh, huh? Do ya, do ya? (I don't want you to get in trouble with the pattern police though!)

Great work for sticking with it! They look so comfy! I once started a scarf, but had to ask my grandma to finish the other half because I was tired of dealing with it :-) haha

They look warm and cozy! I'm glad you are able to knit again. Sore hands are no fun.

I love them!!! The colors of the yarn are to die for, perhaps an Esty shop in your future?? They would be so cute as wellie socks!

These socks look so comfy and toasty warm. How dificult is it to knit? Knitting is something I have always wanted to try but have been a little timid of trying? What do you think?

BL&L nah I would have to charge 200.00 for a pair of socks to make it worth it lol! But I am thinking about a giveaway sometime in the new year :O)

Wow, I want to learn how to do that! I love your socks, so pretty and full of color! I am learning how to crochet, I am currently crocheting a scarf for my grandma. :)

Hi Suburban Princess! I love your blog; so cute! Those socks are adorable--I am strictly a scarf knitter, as knitting socks sounds too complex! Good for you for being a braver knitter than I am! :)
