Happy Friday!

Wow what a week! It started off slow and has been very busy for a few days! I have been invited to a shopping day tomorrow but I just feel like staying at home - it is so unlike me to turn down invitations but I just want a day with my two Princes!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I will be puttering around the house today and tomorrow we will be getting the rest of the Christmas decorations up. The tree is up and lit but not decorated and the villages are set up so hopefully the rest of it can be put up and I don't need to worry about it!

We will be taking the Little Prince to the new playground on Saturday too! Remember this post? Our town just built a big playground this month and it just opened so we cant wait to check it out! I will take photos so we can compare! I drove past it this morning and it is green and yellow - not the greatest colours and none of the moms know why they didn't go with brighter colours. Oh well! It is a big playground and that's all that matters right?!

I am looking forward to a chili dinner tomorrow night! We had lots left from our Halloween dinner party so I froze it and we will have it tomorrow! We always have it with Garden of Eatin' Black Bean Chips with cheese melted on them - YUM!

On Sunday it is my dad's birthday so we are going to visit them - we are giving him the Leafs tickets the Suburban Prince won so his gift will be money for beers and snacks at the game. I have no idea what else to get him other than cash so hopefully he has a good time at the game!

What are your plans for the weekend? I cant wait to see what all of my American blogirls are doing for American Thanksgiving! Are you planning to go to the Black Friday sales?

Have a fabulous day!

The Leafs tickets and cash for snacks sounds like my kind of gift--I'm sure your dad will love it!
My plans for the weekend: get an oil change, take my kids to McD's while we wait, then spend the rest of the weekend at home slobbing around!

Happy birthday to your Dad... I'm sure he'll enjoy your gift.

My Christmas tree was up and decorated for a month now. I know, it's too early but I want to feel Christmas in our home already. We don't have Thanksgiving here in the Philippines so Christmas preparation starts as early as October. Next week, I'm buying gift wrappers, boxes and start wrapping gifts.

Have a great weekend!

Sounds like you have a great weekend planned. Enjoy!

We're traveling to go see my brother and sister-in-law. It should be interesting with the kids.

I don't even like chili, but it sounds so good in your post. That's an easy dinner. I hope the playground is fun. The vibe will probably be lively since it's new. But I guess that's the case most of the time w/kids.

I have a bit of work tomorrow, Sat. And not sure what else I'm up to. Probably trying to catch up on some rest. Monday is when I'm going to try to see New Moon.

Our Thanksgiving plans have changed so much this year its a little crazy. I always put my tree up while watching the Macy's parade on Thanksgiving morning but since we're having a birthday party for Ellie on Saturday I'm going to wait until Sunday to decorate. Can't have a bunch of squeeling 9 year old girls knocking down my tree.

As far as "Black Friday" I think I might sneak out to Target to see if they have any good deals for the one gift I missing for Ellie but other than that I'll be at the office. Decided to use my floating holiday another day. And...I'm 90% done with my shopping so that keeps me out of the stores. ;)

XOXO
