Quail eggs are oh so yummy .. but like anything in life worth having a little challenge comes with it. <br /><br />What has worked for me in the past is getting a little crack in the shell (at the tip) then carefully working the crack until the top (tip) is off. The protective membrane can be the toughest to get through. Friends made it easy looking by using quail egg scissors ... though I could never manage to get them to work as smoothly for me.
