By the way, we dressed for the theater just like we do here at home & people were staring at us like we were aliens. I still believe in dressing up to *go out* unless we're *slumming* and going to a dive somewhere.Snooty Primadonahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10023417839687501752noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8577783112523684345.post-84738907177251929562010-11-28T15:20:24.847-05:002010-11-28T15:20:24.847-05:00I love, love, LOVE Wicked!

I'm not suggesting one needs to put on a gown to attend (though a step back to in time, that wwhen a gown was theatre attire would be great).

Then again some of the people in the photo are better dressed than people I saw at church this summer. xo HHLhighheeledlifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07205935979513877589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8577783112523684345.post-77348348210361918862010-11-18T16:52:25.105-05:002010-11-18T16:52:25.105-05:00Well said, Princess. The touring production of Wicked was here last spring, and 90 percent of people dressed. The other 10 percent are too dull to realize that by not dressing (by not caring, really) that they're missing out on part of the entire experience. To dress, to enjoy a bite before someplace special, to see the show, and then to have a coffee or drink afterward is so lovely.Town and Country Househttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00842299632895569707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8577783112523684345.post-44651992497377329412010-11-18T16:27:29.679-05:002010-11-18T16:27:29.679-05:00No one here ever dresses for the theatre, I always...No one here ever dresses for the theatre, I always look so overdone but I've learned to live with folk look at me oddly!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8577783112523684345.post-14520177617624833422010-11-18T15:36:12.881-05:002010-11-18T15:36:12.881-05:00i cannot believe that girl was wearing THAT.... i ...i cannot believe that girl was wearing THAT.... i can still remember getting all dressed up to see wicked (gray and black strip dress and black cardigan, and that was wayyyyy back in 2005, when i was a younger kiddo!). and then i cried my eyes out because i had forgotten to pack my pumps and had to wear flipflops. c'est la vie!how i met your father bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08801991769160050444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8577783112523684345.post-5717166413928259772010-11-18T14:53:58.692-05:002010-11-18T14:53:58.692-05:00WOW! What really blows my mind is the fact that you can now purchase snacks just as you would at the movies and eat them during the show. Can you imagine listening to Defying Gravity while the people behind you smack their popcorn?
